So far it's been a fine weekend.
I'd say so.

Frown: Just spent $70usd on flowers for our hanging baskets that will probably stay alive for four months.

Smile: Well, my wife is thrilled to decorate the back yard, so I guess it was worth it. But still...flowers.

:D Went to Magic Kingdom yesterday. Again, remember my mom and my brother's ex-girlfriend's grandmother are both cast members so we can get in for free. Oh, and don't forget that my bro's almost a cast member, and that yours truly applied with them as well. And since my record's spotless, getting the job for me's gonna be a piece of cake. But back to Magic Kingdom...

 It started raining right before we got there, and we were only there for a couple hours when the rain got epicly nasty. So we were there long enough for my oldest niece to go meet Mickey at the theatre thing at Main Street, for her and my mom to ride the carousel while I went with my bro while he went to get Space Mountain Fastpasses, find out that while the Video Arcade in Futureland has some cool games, they didn't have a Fix-it Felix Jr machine, and then we rode It's a Small World. So my trip to Magic Kingdom (my second in my whole life, my first being when I was 18) consisted of two monorail rides, It's a Small World, a lotta walking and getting rained out.

:) Finally got the $20 that my uncle was gonna give me for this thing I sold him. Gotta make it last, since...

:( ...if I get my unemployment, I still gotta claim my check from Food Lion (which is my vacation pay and the money I would have gotten for my "My Hours") AND that I'm now technically no longer employed anywhere, and since it was so much after taxes I'll probably be lucky to get anything.

:( Decided to forgo this year's Free Comic Book Day. Figures the one time when there's a comic book store in reasonable distance from my house that I'd still have an excuse not to go.

It's a Small World is the worst. My Father made the ride somewhat fun by seeing if he could tip the boat over, and damn near breaking the track it was on. He was close, I'll give him that, as he got some of that small world "water" into the boat.

I forget who said it, but "Small World would be awesome if they gave everyone a bucket of tennis balls to lob at the puppets" still makes me laugh. What an awful, long, boring, monotonous ride.

Haunted House, Space Mountain, and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride* were my shizznit at DisneyLand.

*It closed in the 90's? What's next, closing the beer garden and tea cups? I'm honestly upset that the Wild Ride is no more.

You need to be careful with that kind of thinking, man. You're setting yourself up for disappointment if you don't get the job. Regardless of how qualified you are (or think you are), there could be any number of reasons why they wouldn't hire you and if they don't, they're under no obligation to tell you why. Optimism and confidence are good things, but don't count your chickens until they're hatched.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

:? Finals week. I'm terrible at studying. I have a short attention span and I'm distracted way too easily. Huge procrastinator too. I'll try to squeeze in maybe 2 more hours of studying this afternoon then I'll wake up @ 6 am tomorrow to hit the books again.

Advice you already know (but may be intentionally ignoring):

You know what is worse than failing an exam?

Knowing you are going to fail the exam.

You know what is worse than studying all night?

Not being able to sleep because you know you have to study in the morning.

Can you disagree that leaving any test with confidence, be it an interview/test of strength/test of character/test of knowledge, is one of the best feelings ever?

Nope, you can't.

Isn't studying while listening to classical music a temporary relief from mundane chores?

Yes, yes it is.

I just went "Be Prepared", Cub Scout style on you. Two finger salute!

Tennis ball gun from American Gladiators attached to the boats maybe?

I really need to make one of those this summer. That and a kegarator. I should probably do the tennis ball gun first, I don't see myself finishing many products after I build a beer dispenser.

Smile: My wife bought a half gallon of Patron for Cinco de Mayo.

Frown: For Margaritas.

You can't return liquor in NC, but Jose would have sufficed. And mixing expensive tequila with cheap sugar water isn't my thing, so I'm working on an alternate plan.

Or seeing horny college kids screwing and they don't realize people can still see them.

But while it's nice that they had an awesome selection of games (mostly new stuff, but some retro and not-quite-but-not-quite-not retro games, Crazy Taxi being the latter), I still was kinda bummed that they didn't have Fix-It Felix Jr. in the Video Arcade. And that I have YET to see where the Wreck-It Ralph merch is sold. But there's still tons of Disneyian Star Wars stuff and Nightmare Before Christmas stuff.
