What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

You'll have to go with something else. This is, and has been mine for awhile.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
I would but my parents would be like
YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHIMG ABOUT THIS SHUT THE HELL UP
like seriously.

Edit: just happened. Tried opening it up and my parents walk in going YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ANOUT COMPUTERS
and I try to respond and was promptly told to shut up
So in other words, you try to help your parents. They tell you that you don't know anything about it, even though you obviously know more than they do. And when you try to prove that you're right and they're wrong, they cut you down and tell you to shut up, even though you're right.

Welcome to my hell.

But seriously, keep trying to convince them you know what you're doing and that they're in the wrong for doubting you. And if they don't listen, it's their own fault.

People need to learn that there's a difference between being older and being smarter.

But on my homefront:

:D Filled out my application for Disney. I'm going for a custodian job at one of the parks, hopefully the third shift (also known as: "the night shift", "the graveyard shift") since it pays a dollar more per hour. I still gotta do a whole lot more, but the next step is my web interview, which will be Monday. But all things considered, my chances are AWESOME.

It is from his wikipedia page; so, I assume so.

If that's recent - he's doing pretty damn good - I saw him at the DECC, pre WWF as a kid, we're talking 1986 or so. Not sure if it was officially NWA or just a local promotion - but I recall some other decent names on the ticket; Tommy Rich and the tag team that wore the bandanas on their elbows (I think they were supposed to be brothers)...oh oh, Rock n' Roll Express I think.

Smile:

I brought some left over KFC biscuits to work today, but I forgot the honey packets.

I go on break and take the biscuits out and toss them in the microwave. And what's that sitting on top of the microwave? A giant bottle of Kirkland's Honey.

I swear Ice Cube's "It was a Good Day" started up in my head.
