Actually you can, it just takes a bit of tricky knowledge and you still have to be very strong.Luke wrote: Rip it in half to impress your friends (which you can't do, but you can try and make your friends laugh and possibly give yourself a hernia)

How impressive would that be though? I'd be impressed.Luke wrote:...and have two hands. Kind of a requirement.Hobie-wan wrote: Actually you can, it just takes a bit of tricky knowledge and you still have to be very strong...
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

I could probably use my left forearm, and my left knee as the fulcrum and tear the book in half if I knew the trick to the proper tear.
Then post it on youtube and make $0.25usd.

There's many times that I actually prefer to look something up in a book rather than the internet.Luke wrote:I just got a new Yellow Pages dropped off at my front door.
Why?
This point is a whole can of worms for me, actually. But instead of getting into that, I'll just leave with this random thing: I was training some one at work and used the phrase "can of worms" and the kid told me he didn't know what that meant. I had to explain what can of worms meant!

You guys didn't see the Mythbusters episode with the interlocked phone books? If you interlock two phone books (alternating pages between the two) they are inseparable. Over the course of filming the episode, Adam learned to rip a phone book in half. There's a trick to doing it, and apparently once known you can rip any phone book in half with relative ease.

I seriously need to learn how to dance, I'm horrible.
Saying that though, few people I know can actually dance. Most do two the right, one to left, which I have always been taught isn't dancing. I dunno, I got nothing.

Not quite inseparable. Bring a couple of tanks and you're golden.Ziggy587 wrote:You guys didn't see the Mythbusters episode with the interlocked phone books? I just meant that's what the myth was, but yeah, easy as pie to separate them!
