Re: saturn 3d control compitable games
That list is missing Panzer Dragoon Zwei, which I think is the best game to use the 3D Control Pad with.
Also, using it with Panzer Dragoon 1 is kind of wonky, though it can be done.

I heard somewhere that Panzer Dragoon Zwei doesnt really like the 3D control pad and the game glitches.
When I played it some time ago, the dragons berzerk mode would go off without warning.
I was using the 3d pad.
lets see if others can confirm whether Im just full of hot air.

I thought it was just my controller. I believe X, Y, and Z all trigger berserk, but for some reason X triggers it randomly. Disabling X in the game options solves the problem. (It's been a while since I looked at the game options, but I believe that's how I fixed it.)
Re: saturn 3d control compitable games
Panzer Dragoon Zwei would always fire off the berzerk every time I hit the R button on the 3D pad.
I'll try disabling the X button in a bit to see what that does.

Played through a couple of stages, this seems to have worked!

@noise:
Yeah, but that doesn't tell me which games were designed for the 3D pad, and which is merely compatible with it. NiGHTS was made for the 3D pad, and works better with it (I presume, I never actually used a regular controller with it).
In other words, without NiGHTS, is there any other game that makes keeping the super duper rare 3D pad around worth it?

Christmas Nights.
Also, as I mentioned previously, Panzer Dragoon Zwei.
And is the 3D Control Pad rare all of a sudden? Crap! I've been meaning to pick up another one or two, because mine is wearing out. A couple years ago, Collection Games had tons of brand new ones for like $20, but I put off getting one.
