Not a gaming "room" persay but its most of my collection

Post by selfdestroyer »

I hope large pictures don't bother anyone..

Ok .. heres the deal. I got a phone call on Thursday that said I had to empty out my indoor storage since the place was closing. I was saddened since I do not have room at my apartment for all my consoles. I had to make a moving day out of it... and I'm kind of glad I did. I was able to locate, clean and organize most of my consoles and get them ready for new storage. I wanted to share my collection pictures with you people but I never had it in the same place before. Now I will be able to share with you about 60% of my collection. I say 60% since I have a quite a few unboxed systems at my house and do not like to store them with out boxes.

I picked up the consoles in my car and made a few trips... I ended up taking to my work and storing them in my office until I get a new storage facility.

Here is the rest of the pictures of me trying to "hide" them at work.. the last thing I want is people knowing I have them here.

This picture also shows the Dell boxes that house most of my systems that do not have original boxes for. Like my TurboDuo and Neo-Geo CD etc... One day I'll find boxes for them.

Impessive collection. How many do you have connected and in use?

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

With a extensive collection like that you could sell half of it and get out of that apartment and into a house!

Dang...that's alot of boxed systems! You actually have an Action Max....thats funny. Good stuff though and funny story. I can imagine your boss coming in and being all pissed and threatening to fire you. Then you take out you take our the power pad and challange him to a decathelon match for your job. Classic.

Do you happen to have or can you take a pic of the back of your boxed SNES. I'm trying to find one of the original boxes with the Arc the Lad advertisement on back. Don't think yours is that old though.

I have yet to hook up the ActionMax.. I need to find a old VCR to try it out. My boss is really cool about the whole thing.. shes not even in to games and has no idea what most of them are. As long as she doesn't walk in and I'm playing something, shes fine with it.

When I get back to work on Monday I'll take a pic of the SNES box for you.. I belive mine is a Target store exclusive and it came with F-Zero.

haha I was SO worried about putting stuff in my car for that reason. I even loaded up the car at night so no one seen me carry them to the car.

Holy crap in a pita! That's an impressive assortment of consoles!

If anyone had any questions on why emulation is so popular, look no further. It's easier to throw everything in a single hard drive than having to rent a storage unit to put all your cool shit in. 8)
