Random Gaming Thoughts
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I've been playing The Guardian Legend every year since I was a kid (Recently only on emulators because I don't have a NES). I have never once used that code, but have been really tempted recently. Learned about it on GameWinners when I was a kid.

Addicted to Strange Journey on DS. Amazing. I didn't think I would get into a dungeon crawler as much as I am.
Older. Not wiser.

It's awesome that you like it. SMT games are so engaging in so many ways.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Addicted to Strange Journey on DS. Amazing. I didn't think I would get into a dungeon crawler as much as I am.

Borderlands is not a strict FPS. You don't just have a handful of guns for the whole game and that's it.IhatedSega wrote:Its ugly looking, grey, teal, grey, grey, grey........grey everywhere. "NNOOOOO I NEVER DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Hate that fucking guy.
Its just not a fun game, everything is a chore due to the real life aim of it. Im just not into modern FPS games. The only good thing about it was driving in the offroader blowing up stuff with the canon and squashing those hyena things over with your wheels. Yeah, the best part of a FPS game to me was the nonFPS part.
Boooooooo. Also if you beat the game it tells you the TGL code.o.pwuaioc wrote:I just learned that TGL is the password used to skip the exploration parts of The Guardian Legend. Yes, I think I will do this.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I'm really late to the party but I finally understand the appeal of Mega Man. I picked up Mega Man 2 3DS VC over the weekend and am enjoying it.
I was able to complete the Bubbleman level and am currently doing Heatman. Wow, the platforming with the disappearing steps over lava is quite hard. I might have to skip it and do a different level with the hope of getting some special item to make this easier.
As I'm playing, I find myself thinking of noiseredux as I think MM was his original avatar.

Yeah, once you get the jet platform item, you can just cruise past those annoying as hell disappearing platforms. Just make sure you have full energy on it.gtmtnbiker wrote:I'm really late to the party but I finally understand the appeal of Mega Man. MM2 is the best MM game ever made, BTW.
