A long time ago, my brother in law and I bought some pork rinds and sodas as a snack on a road trip. When we opened the bag, the entire car smelled like what we could only describe as "french fried pork anus." It didn't stop us from enjoying the awesome snack, but it cracked us up because the car truly smelled like pig farts for quite a while.

Since then, that's what we call pork rinds.

"Hey Mark, want me to pick up anything for the BBQ?"
"Yeah dude, get a huge bag of french fried pork anus."

Just had a pizza from Anthony's and a peach Snapple. I can get them for $2.50 per 6 pack out here, so you can guess what I'm going to be drinking a lot of from now on.

Aren't they awesome? I love peach snapple. I was actually trying to find the green apple white tea Snapple this evening but I really don't think they make it anymore. :(

It was really good.

Even though I think it looks gross... I gotta ask, how was it?
The peeled egg has a strong ammonia smell. The part that was once white is pretty tasteless, the yolk has most of the flavor and tastes like a combination of very strong tasting old yolk and the taste equivalent of how a humid asscrack smells on a hot summer day...

Worst of all. I still have 5 eggs left. Damn...
Did you eat it plain on it's own? Try it with pickled ginger, might make it more palatable. Or if you don't have pickled ginger, just mix white rice vinegar and sugar to taste, then have it with the mixture. Could try searching recipes for century egg porridge(basically is just minced meat, century egg and rice) too.

Yup, ate it plain on its own. Second one too.

Don't have pickled ginger. Got fresh ginger though. If I can use that...

Think I read somewhere I could use mustard too...

Maybe I should just make my own concoction. A mix of finely chopped garlic and ginger, a little mustard, honey, watercress, and a drop of apple cider vinegar perhaps. How's that sound?...

As for the porridge. No way I'm eating a whole meal that tastes like century egg...

Pickle your own ginger. It's easy and delicious.

Pasta Puttanesca last night, possibly Taco night tonight.
