This OVA is retro-awesome!

An OVA is a form of anime. It stands for "Original Video Animation". Pretty much it's a label for anime not featured on TV or in theaters, think of it as direct to video.BurningDoom wrote:I'm gonna ask a dumb question here, so please forgive my ignorance:

Original Video Animations are pretty much like direct to dvd releases or thats how wiki describes it.BurningDoom wrote:I'm gonna ask a dumb question here, so please forgive my ignorance:

At first I figured you meant a Japanese release but woah, I checked Amazon for kicks and there it is being released tomorrow. Is this the very first Patlabor production? I know production order for that franchise is kind of weird and an OVA came before the TV series, I really want to get into it though.TheRev wrote:Speaking of OAV
Patlabor is coming to blu ray THIS WEEK
