Odallus: The Dark Call *click to go to their site and see a video of an alpha of the game*
Odallus is clearly an homage to classic exploration/action type games like Castlevania and the music and animation seem to back that up. Here's hoping we get something that is playable on a NES!

Cellar Door Games wrote:From the makers of Don't Sh*t Your Pants, comes a new take on the rogue-like genre. Rogue Legacy is a side-scrolling semi-rogue-like action game where you battle against the ghastly creatures residing within the walls of a procedurally generated castle. As you die you can pass your knowledge to your offspring, unlocking new abilities and making them stronger and tougher than ever before. It is the cycle of life and death... and death... and death. It is your legacy.

Systems: PC, Linux, Mac, XBLA, WiiU
Description: Game from Ackk Studios that takes inspiration from Game Boy classics like Zelda, Castlevania, etc. and uses death and color to give it a unique twist. Listen to the Racketboy interview with the team here.

Description: Seems like a fun, but typical platformer. The catch is you have a narrator that is subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) calling you a moron the whole time a la GlaDOS from Portal.

The latest version of this game will have more characters and more levels, including levels from the very obscure Super Mario Bros Special for the Sharp X1 Computer. It looks insanely weird in that the game has power-ups that bump you into different eras of graphics.

I'm just being anal here (the game looks fun), but those colors are way wrong for NES. For one, all that yellow. NES doesn't even have a true yellow.

It's because it's supposed to look like the Sharp X1.
Mario Crossover looks insane, I havent played it since they introduced SOPHIA. I know that Exploding Rabbit is making their own spinoff game:
But that still has not released.
The new game from the creators of Super Meat Boy basically it's a cat lady simulator that has elements from Pokémon, The Sims, and Tamagatchi. I'll pretty much buy anything Team meat makes by this point.
