Poker Night 2

Post by fastbilly1 »

This time with a cast of:
Patrick Warburton as Brock Sampson (Venture Brothers)
David Nowlin as Sam (Sam and Max)
David Eddings as Clap Trap (Borderlands)
Somebody not Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams (Evil Dead)
Ellen McClain as GlaDOS (Portal) as the dealer

Game is to be released this month. Trailer:

As much as I dont like Texas Holdem, The Tick yelling at Claptrap is almost enough for me to buy it right there. That and the unlockable Zero skin for Borderlands 2 where he has the design of a portal turret is pretty awesome.

LOL! I never even knew the first one existed, but with that lineup I think I gotta buy it. Hearing Joe Swanson pissed off at me that I won that round is awesome.

Brock Samson's face looks a bit messed up.

This probably takes away half the fun of playing the game, but here are a bunch of GlaDOS' lines:

I'm digging this game, but the dialog in the first one is much better.
The characters in Poker Night at the Inventory (one) seemed much more believable and had more personality.

I feel like Ash doesn't really do much, and Sam is too even-keeled. On the plus side, now the dealer gets in on the dialog.

I'm finding it much harder than the first one. I'm loving the dialogue from Glados and Claptrap mostly. Which is strange because I find Claptrap very annoying in Borderlands.

The first one was too easy and the novelty (character dialogue and tf2 items) wore off fast. I'm glad to hear this one improved a little.
