This will be perfect with Wii pointer controls for shooting and the nunchuck for movement. I could never get the hang of the controls of the first game when I downloaded it on VC.

this is class

I really REALLY wish they would release Radiant Silvergun on some platform, the VC probably wont do due to the strange SSX hardware, but still I can only hope

Ive still never PROPERLY played it :(

I loved the first Sin and Punishment but this one just doesn't seem as good. For one the main character looks like a 5 year old kid. I also see a lot of screens where the character is just hovering in mid-air. I don't remember any flying scenes in the original(except the part on the aircraft carrier and even then they were still standing on something).

I just didn't imagine it like this. I could be wrong and maybe it's a great game. I guess I'll have to see.

I was going to post a topic for this, but some people mentioned it on another thread so I didn't bother. I am quite surprised by the announcement. If they do it right, it's something I'll have to check out(well whenever I get a Wii that is). Sin & Punishment was just an amazing game. Only N64 import I own, but I am damn proud to have it in my collection.

From the screenshots, the main character does look a little dorky. I'm kind of tired of japanese games with kids for main characters personally, but it's gameplay that won me over in the original so we'll see how this one turns out.

Doesn't anybody wish Treasure would stop making remakes and sequels? In the past they were very good about it, but lately remakes have been the bulk of their output. I honestly don't want a sequel to Radiant Silvergun ("Project RS2" doesn't count because it is different enough) and I would be happier if the handheld remakes didn't exist.

If you don't count Gradius V (since it is a sequel, but in a franchise they didn't create), their last original console game was FIVE years ago!

Game developers just aren't sticking to their values these days are they? Remember someone saying that he would eat his own head if Resident Evil 4 were ever ported to another system and now Treasure has gone against it's whole no sequel rule a few times already

Getting back to another point I made, anyone else sick of all the japanese games with kid characters in them. Kingdom Hearts comes to mind and it seems like every j-rpg has more big eyed teens running around. Now we get this kiddy looking character in Sin and Punishment 2. I really don't feel that japanese games are helping with the whole idea of games not being just for kids anymore.
