I am probably going to get flamed like crazy but here I go....

-I believe Nintendo 64 is Nintendo's worst home console. Not a bad system(far from it) but not quite as good as Nintendo's other systems.

-Sonic Adventure 2 is a poorly designed game, worse than the first one. The only thing really good about SA2 is the soundtrack.

-Final Fantasy,as a whole is not that great of a series compared to other RPG series
-Speaking of FF, Final Fantasy VII is a huge step down from final fantasy VI

-Tatsunoko vs Capcom is WAY better than Marvel vs capcom 3

-Mega Man games should NOT remain 8-bit

I might disagree with the first (GameCube is probably inferior to N64 for me), I agree with the next two, and have no opinion on the fourth. The last is, well, a personal difference.

- Not really controversial, since most people seem to be split about this. I'm on the SA2 camp personally, but as I said it's not really controversial when half the people support the other side.

- Well yeah you can say that, but FF is just the best MAINSTREAM rpg series in most people's minds. And of course FF7 is a step down compared to FF VI.

- I don't think this is controversial either. 9 sold well cause it was nostalgic, but 10 apparently bombed so perhaps we all thought one game in 8-bit was enough.

I think it is way too early to factor the Wii U in that discussion.

Well I'm not really counting WiiU yet since its still fairly new and some pretty cool games do seem to be coming, so I will give it a chance. For the megaman, I know many who bashed 7 and 8 simply because they were not 8-bit despite them being pretty fun games. And as much as I would hate to admit it you ARE right about FF being the best "mainstream" JRPG. The only other would be Pokemon, which I've started to get sick of and have a hard time coming back to recently, as I play more SMT games. :p

If we're not counting the Virtual Boy, then I fully agree. I've always hated the controller. And while there are good FPS and 3D platformers, I hate that there is little variety besides that. And besides that, I enjoyed the PS platformers more anyways (Crash Bandicoot series, Spyro series, Pac-Man World, Gex, etc.)

I do own one, however, and do play it from time to time. Just not nearly as much as my other Nintendo consoles.
