With 58 pages in this thread, I would assume someone has already made a pie joke...

!!!Sound the alarm!!!

I'm making homemade Sloppy Joes tonight, and my wife asked in a panic "We don't have mac & cheese do we? We need mac & cheese! We can't have sloppy joes without mac and cheese! Should I get some mac and cheese?".

And she said it all with an adorable expression of anxiousness as if dinner would be completely ruined if she didn't have a bowl of that yellow processed side dish.

I can appreciate that. Grilled cheese isn't complete without a whole dill pickle and root beer for me.

We have been eating alot of homemade applebutter. I picked up five apples for $1 at Kroger, melted them down and added cinnamon. It needs spices during the final cooking in a cheese cloth, but it is still good. Goes great on the Banana Bread we made last night.

Tonight is frozen pizza with chopped up grilled chicken and spices on it. Eating out the freezer...

Yeah I'm lost without tomato basil soup when having grilled cheese.

So Luke, you make all these wonderful items and don't make homemade mac n' cheese? What gives?

The peeled egg has a strong ammonia smell. The part that was once white is pretty tasteless, the yolk has most of the flavor and tastes like a combination of very strong tasting old yolk and the taste equivalent of how a humid asscrack smells on a hot summer day...

Worst of all. I still have 5 eggs left. Damn...

Soooo...I take it was not to your taste...and I should politely decline if I am ever offered one of these.

EDIT: What prompted you to buy them? Sheer curiosity?

Not my cup of tea, no...

Declining a new experience?... Never.

Yup, curiosity. And it didn't kill me.
