similarly, these radio commercials are indianapolis staples. this guy's droning, "beuller" style voice has been on the airwaves for about 20 years or so (if not more). what you won't hear in this video is the tagline for the jewelry store that just about every person in indy knows by heart:

"With service, selection, quality and value, now YOU have a friend in the diamond business. The Shane Company, just east of 96th St and I-69; open Monday through Friday 'til 8; Saturday and Sunday 'til 5."

The Red House in High Point

It's where black people and white people buy furniture.

When I lived in Utah, there was this weird guy who called himself Super Dell who ran a company called Totally Awesome Computers. I can't find any of his commercials, but there is this video where you can get a sense of his loud personality:

He later got kind of crazy and instead of just doing his gonzo computer commercials, he got politically loud about religion and guns. He opened a Totally Awesome Guns & Ammo business, he paid to have some infomercial kind of thing aired about his religious beliefs, and he even tried to run for governor. He was a real nut.

Good ones. I'm surprised the 4 people holding "Paul" up didn't drop him!

That's a great example right there. Thanks for that!

Haha, in the comments section someone claims to have been one of the women holding him. She said after ten takes her arms hurt for weeks. Worth it for a brush with greatness, though.

I love these commercials for Norton Furniture.
The guy is basically Senor Cardgage from Homestar Runner.

Sadly, the best ones from my area don't seem to be on YouTube. :/

I love the fact he acknowledges his wife has a boyfriend, and that said boyfriend beats him up. Comedy silver.
