That's awesome.Retrodude wrote:Fun Trivia!: When Mel Brooks was serving in the military during WWII, there was one occasion where the Germans were blasting Nazi propaganda at them through loud speakers. In response, Mel Brooks set up his own loudspeakers and blasted Al Jolson records right back at them. Awesome.

today I found out it came out yesterday. For some reason I thought it was still months away. My wife is reading the book right now (yup, there's a book). Hoping to see it this week.mrjayberry wrote:Lords of Salem

This is weird, though: it looks like it straight to DVD in the UK:
I fear that doesn't bode well.

Well, looks like my friend flaked so, barring some unforeseen circumstance, it looks like I'm going to go see Evil Dead tomorrow without him......by myself......Drat.
Admittedly it was hard, but I managed to resist.prfsnl_gmr wrote:What? My favorite Rob Zombie movie was Halloween, he takes complete creative control with this one and I must say I prefer when somebody is there to reign him in a bit. So stylized I'm sure it's going to be a real love/hate film probably wouldn't recommend it to people who don't already love Rob Zombies previous efforts.dsheinem wrote:How would you say it compares to his other films?mrjayberry wrote:Lords of Salem

Just watched G.I. Joe: the Rise of Cobra, going to see the new one sunday, even though it looks like everyone hated it, but i need to see it for myself!
I thought Rise of Cobra was really good actually, and since im talking about bad sequels according to reviews, i cant imagine the new G.I. Joe could ever be worse than xXX State of the Union, omg what a horrible mess that was.
I enjoyed the first xXx, and looking forward to xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
I try to enjoy movies for their entertainment value over being politically correct or artistic value.
