Snes - Audio Problem
Re: Snes - Audio Problem
I believe the voltage rating on capacitors is the total voltage the cap can handle. So if a particular cap on the SNES board is 22uF and rated for 20v, and you replace it with a 22uF cap rated for 50v, you wont have a problem. You just don't wanna go lower, like a 22uF cap rated at 5v for example.

I concur. Match the farad rating and if the voltage rating is the same or higher it will be fine with caps.

Also, I know you would wanna buy locally so you don't have to wait for things to come in the mail, but you could find exact matches on a site like DigiKey. It may also be cheaper, even after shipping.

Re: Snes - Audio Problem
as long as the capacitence is the same like you said, they're fine. the voltage reading is max voltage, so as long as all those values are the same or higher than the current values, you should be fine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
