Savers --- $1.99 each. Thursday was supposed to be 25% off but now apparently they don't do that anymore which is epic BS. Oh well I still think I made out ok.

Man, a store canceled a weekly sale? That is epic.

Yeah, but Savers always had that sale. Am I right, Onyx? Did they also do away with the cards that you get stamped?
I like Savers a lot, it's like an up class thrift store. When you walk in, you feel like your walking into a Target or something. It's clean inside, and it doesn't smell.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Decided to swing by the thrifts stores after work today. I picked up a late model Atari Lynx in the carry case. Its missing the battery cover and I was really uncomfortable with the $40 price tag. I wasn't able to test it and was going to pass on it until I noticed the 2 pouches were full of games. They're not the best games, still it was 9 games total so I decided to take a chance. It came with Blue Lightning, Viking Child, A.P.B., Zarlor Mercenary, S.T.U.N. Runner, KLAX, Turbo Sub, Road Blasters, and Ms. Pac Man.
EDIT: I should mention that the Lynx does work though its a bit finicky about recognizing when a cartridge (or are the cards? I dunno) is inserted. I need to pop it open and clean off the contacts.
At the same thrift store I also picked up 2 original Xbox controllers for $7. One is a "Duke" and one is a Capcom Street Fighter 15th anniversary pad. I also got Scarface for Xbox ($5). For $6 each I got Metroid Prime 1 &2, Pitfall, and The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker (Players Choice) for the Gamecube, all complete and in very good condition. I'll most likely just trade the Metroid games after giving them a whirl. I'd like to play Wind Waker first before trading/selling it off. I have a sealed copy I bought back when it was released and just never had a chance to play it. Now I can without opening my original copy.
At another thrift store I picked up NBA In the Zone on the Game Boy for $2.

Yeah every thursday was 25% off hence why I went today. The store is clean compared to most thrift stores. The women at the register told me that they are still doing sales and sich so well see.

The Savers by my parents house didn't even last a year before closing up. LOL. Didn't find much to write home about in that place.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
While in France I picked up some Sega Saturn Svideo cables for a out $30USD as well as After Burner for the Mark III / SC3000H (which I will be playing it on) for about $18USD. Not amazing price, but the stores are so overwhelming with content I had to get some things I had been looking awhile for.
The retro gaming stores here are insane, they are massive, with heaps of JPN imports, I took heaps of photos, will have to upload them when I get the chance..
