It took me a while to figure out all the steps to make this work well, but now my Wii is performing one hell of a Turbo Duo impression, and I can easily play all my ripped TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine CD games on my Wii. Anyway, hopefully this guide enables you to skip straight to near-perfect emulation much faster than it took me to muddle through all the steps.

And kudos to Racketeers for helping me figure out the optimal solution to ripping TG-16/PCE titles (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=41464&p=710439&hilit=turborip#p710439).

Nice guide, but shouldn't one use RetroArch Wii instead, as Medafen hasn't updated in over a year?

Wow, I didn't even know that RetroArch was an option. Will definitely try it out. Thanks!

Re: Guide to Emulating TG-16/PCE CD games on the Wii
Finally got around to trying RetroArch as an alternative to WiiMednafen. Unfortunately, I can't get any of my ripped games to load in it. They all work fine in WiiMednafen, but every time I point to the .cue file with RetroArch I get a generic "error." Already double-checked twice that the syscard3.pce bios is in the system folder for RetroArch. Has anyone gotten it working with PCE CD rips? Any advice?
