We're all worried about the forum members in the Boston area with the news of the marathon explosions. If you live in Massachusetts and have a moment, please check in with us here so we know you're all right.

There was already a good bit of discussion on the What Made you Smile/What Ticked you Off Today thread, but please don't hesitate to re-post.

I'm in MA, but about an hour or more south. I was nowhere near any of it. But def send well wishes out to anyone who was.

ZenErik and EllertMichael I believe are both closer to the area. Hopefully they're both OK.

I am okay.. Had the day off and have been in NH with friends.

My thoughts go out to all the victims and their family/friends. Today has been disheartening to even read about. :(

I ran Boston a few years back. Sad to hear about all this. I feel for the injured victims, but also for everyone whose marathon experience was rattled by this. I imagine a lot of the runners not yet finished felt cheated out of the "finish" they fought so hard to earn (or at least they would outside of concern for others).

Sad times, but if I know runners (and supporters), this won't sour us for long. I for one, would jump for another opportunity to run that race (sadly, my back won't allow me to qualify again).

Seems unreal to me though. I have a hard time imagining stuff like this happening in real life, especially to places that I've been to.

It appears one of the suspects is dead. Second still on the loose. This is wild.

Can't get to work at current because public transport is shut down. I hope we get the other one alive. Could use some answers.
