The awesome thing about Neo Geo CD/Z is that there is little to no copyright protection, so you can try before you buy. The one downside is that although there is no region protection either, all the games will be in Japanese since the CDZ is a Japanese only console. The games' language defaults to the region of the bios.

I've been looking at:

Aero Fighters 2, 3
Art of Fighter, 2, 3
Bust-a-Move (although I don't know why)
Frog Feast
Ghost Pilots
Ironclad Brikinger
Magical Drop 2
Magician Lord
Metal Slug, 2
Pulstar
Samurai Shodown, II, III, IV

This is "The Master List" created by Geddon on the neo forums and by all counts the most precise list of neo games.

You'll see quite a few games that were not ported, though there are some exclusives too:

So what I should be buying is a consolized MVS LOL.

So do they make a bootleg MVS cart with all the game??? It may make a console affordable for me :(

Yep, foxhound and I just made an order, came to $79.50 shipped / each for a 161-1 multi-cart. There are 40-1, 100-1, 121-1, 160-1, etc.

There's a 161-1 AES multicart as well that plays flawless, apparently, but it's nearly $700.

Now just to find the money for an MVS - - Could you link me to where you found that so I can possibly try it in the future. Probably CD for now though.

Aliexpress, they are the amazon of bulk and bootleg items. It is actually a very well run site with extremely good performance from the site operators and the sellers who use the site to sell their products.

They do not release your funds to the seller until the seller confirms it has arrived via tracking info.

I buy things from them often - always cheaper if buying multiples of something, but not always possible.

If you check the "let's talk about your neo geo collecting" thread, you'll see many of the CMVS options available to you.

Raguy (titled Blue's Journey in its US MVS/AES variants) is a fantastic cutesy/colorful platformer. I believe it's Japan-only on the NGCD but contains very little text.

Oh and by Neo Geo Gold do you mean the Neo Geo X Gold???
Yeah, Neo Geo X Gold, be nice I am a newb to Neo Geo LOL.
It's all good, I was just confused - as I believe there was also a Neo Geo AES "Gold System" package released way back when.

Good choices. Ghost Pilots is an early shmup but fun. Magical Drop 2 (& 3) are great.
