I know. I tried that. Nothing.
Otherwise you are missing some alternate route (e.g. a ladder going up/down, a path somewhere, etc.).
No idea. I'll have to watch some more youtube vids. Like I said, all the ones I've watched that door is just open once the player gets to it. I can't figure out what they did to unlock it though. Frustrating.

Stupid question: are we sure the DC version is able to be fully played through? Maybe this is a bug and you have to noclip through it.

yeah, i think that's all it does. I don't know...the door I was thinking of is the one at the end of that clip, which you can't yet get to. Is there a noclip cheat for the DC version? Maybe Popo is right...

I don't know if there's a noclip. I'll have to look into it. I'm trying to confirm if the DC version is complete or has a bug or anything. I can't find any proof that it's INCOMPLETE at least.

Here is a complaint about the same thing - not sure which version.

Can you just restart the level?

noclip can be entered with the dc keyboard: http://www.cheatbook.de/cfiles/halflifedreamcast.htm

There's also level select codes, if you just need to restart the level.
