Yeah, Dan's Data is a fun and interesting site to read, both regular review/letter posts and the blog. A UPS should likely keep you from having your PC shut down at all as long as the fridge isn't doing something super terrible to your power and the UPS is decent.elmagicochrisg wrote: I see. It's the MOV that wears out.
Thanks for the link. Very interesting... ^^
Also, I read the small part on the right. From what I can tell it's best to buy a UPS when protecting a PC

Wow Mustang, you barely kept anything - impressive self-control.
Glad you didn't keep the Amiga.

Wanted that CDX mostly but I settled for a CDZ instead. Close enough, though still waffling on the grey Saturn.........BoneSnapDeez wrote:Wow Mustang, you barely kept anything - impressive self-control.

OMG, just opened my package from the Hoobastang deal and found a practically untouched Model 1 system inside. Thing is mint. Comes with all the manuals and what do I find tucked inside, oh, only something I've been looking for, for years:

That Virtua Feeling!!!!!! YAY! My Saturn collection just got a whole lot more awesome today!!!! Thanks John! Thanks Scott!!

what's so good about "that virtual feeling" ? I popped mine in and it's just like a interactive music cd with sega branding.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I found Magical Starsign for DS CIB today at GameStop for $2.69.
But I think it may be somewhat special.
When I found the box, it said 'for display only' and no upc barcode on it. It did have the manual though. So for $3.00 I'll risk it.
When the guy gave me the game, in the back of the cart there was a special sticker. It says 'Not for resale property of Nintendo' there is a barcode and a store #_____ (but its blank).
The sticker is kinda beat up though.
It doesn't seem to be a demo cart. I played it for about half an hour with no problem and the cart does save.
Its probably just a loaner cart.
Pic for you!

12.75 for all three from my favorite pawn shop. No manuals though which is a bummer.
