Okay, I finally hit the level referenced here. It's complete bullshit. I would have never known if I hadn't read it here. I reached a level that was basically impossible, so I tried the trick mentioned. Total bullshit. I turned the game off and threw it in the trade box. Fuck games like this.Zing wrote:I'm playing this also, but I haven't had any trouble yet. I'm on floor seven. How would you know first time playing that to clear a room you have to kill an enemy and then put a block over their re-spawn area so that they would spawn somewhere else? Stuff like this makes the game far less enjoyable than the first.
What are you playing?

While still playing Mega Man X Command Mission, I have begun interspersing bouts of Tetris 2 with it. I've nearly finished my run through of the Normal game mode, though I've only finished 10 of the 99 levels of the Puzzle mode.

Played Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure for a little bit today, reminds me of Space Channel 5 but with more of a story. I like the really nice looking cut scenes.
I've been playing Guacamelee a lot and it's fantastic. It brings to mind a bunch of cool games as I'm going through it like The Dishwasher Samurai, Outland, and Dust: An Elysian Tail

Lolo 2 has a lit of tricks in the manual and I think it shows you some techniques if you sit at the Start screen. That's the way they used to do it.Zing wrote:Okay, I finally hit the level referenced here. It's complete bullshit. I would have never known if I hadn't read it here. I'm playing through a lot of the side stuff in Arkham City. I finished the main campaign last night ... It's pretty great.
Need to figure out what to play next, though. (open to suggestions!)

I'm in the middle of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage on PS1. I needed a bit of a break from RPGs, and this seemed like the perfect mindless excursion. I'm having fun with it, but not as much fun as I did with the original Spyro the Dragon on PS1.

Re: What are you playing?
Currently:
GTA: San Andreas
One of the only GTA titles I have truly connected with.
Shadow Tower: Abyss
Because i love to hate myself (why are the save points so scarce so far?).
Onimusha: Warloads
I skipped over the Onimusha series during the PS2 era. I am enjoying this game quite a bit. Going through the rest of the series.

Playing the hell out of Mega Man X lately. Really a awesome game and definitely a must have on the SNES if for some reason you haven't played it yet. So far I beat the wind boss, the chameleon and the ice one.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2). Man this frame rate is slow, but aside from that, man this game is amazing!

Nice! I recently finished it on the HD re-release for the PS3. I love the series. I need to start working on ICO.Blu wrote:Shadow of the Colossus (PS2). Man this frame rate is slow, but aside from that, man this game is amazing!
Right now though I have been playing Zombi U and Nintendo Land. My wife up and asked me if I wanted to get a Wii U and I honestly could not say no.
Zombi U? HARD! Holy crap is it hard. I am taking this game one step at a time because, in all honesty, my brain is having a hard time wrapping itself around the difficulty of the game. Still, it is a blast.
Nintendo Land? Also a lot of fun. My wife and I play a lot of games together, so we have really enjoyed the co-operative mini games that it has.
I never really though I would enjoy the Wii U as much as I am. It definitely feels better in your hands when you start to play it. So good!
