N64 and the memory expansion pak

i have a pal console, does it matter if i buy an expansion pa(c)k from the usa? yes i know, dumb question but money is tight and i need to be 100%

I cant say 100% as I have never tested this myself, but as far as I am aware no peripheral or add on has ever been region locked so personally I would go for it. Unless someone can prove me wrong

If you wanna play Donkey Kong 64 or Perfect Dark, I'm pretty sure you need the expansion pack no matter which region you are in.

I would be exceedingly shocked if a US expansion pack doesn't work on a PAL N64, unless your console's form factor is radically different from the US version. The only possible thing I could think of would be possibly some kind of tabs on the input slot, similar to how the US SNES has tabs that prevent the JP games from inserting. But from a hardware perspective, there is nothing that region locks it. It's just a RAM expansion, nothing more.
