What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

:x someone tried to scam us out of our top item in our big lot sale.

:) We were careful and sniffed out the scam before too late!

Just read about it in the Sale thread. Great job guys. :D
How are you going to handle the auction now? Obviously they haven't given up...

Yeah seems fishy too. They also quoted my post so it spammed the thread with all the pics. So annoying.

Very fishy. Not sure what people don't understand about "Please don't Quote".

Smile: After sharing some photos of family with my cousins, in return they sent me a link to my Grandfather's WWII album.

 A student concocted a completely false bullshitty story about me, which caused her mother to angrily call and complain to the office this morning.

What bothers me is that shit like this happens all the time. It's like parents don't have the guts to look their kids in the eye and say, "Come on, did that really happen?" They take everything at face value and their kids can do no wrong.

8) The kid's story fell apart pretty quickly. The "incident" supposedly took place yesterday. I took yesterday off.

I'm assuming none of these students' stories ever involve you doing something awesome like jumping a snowmobile into a vertical 720 to catch and hangglide on a pterosaur, eh?

No, but the students tell stories like that about themselves.

The other day, one of my kindergartners claimed to have a pet lion and that she once punched a wild boar in the face...... when she was a one-year-old.

Bah, weak. I was already wrestling grizzlies by that age. Children today are so pathetic.
