My grandfather, Frank. Also, the hat is an authentic Soviet tanker's hat, manufacture circa 1991 before the collapse.

Thanks! Böcklin's self-portrait is one of my favorite works of art, and it reminds me immensely of Danse Macabre. I've also been considering getting William Blake's Red Dragon series and Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer cycle to put on my walls.

Haha, it's a joke. It's actually a plastic replica. Though I did used to keep a latex fetus in a jar and tell people it was my sister. You'd be surprised how many people thought I was telling the truth.

Haha, thanks I think. Truth is, I've slowly been acquiring this for several years. And if ever we hang out, you are welcome to play!
Oh it's certainly a good thing! How are the Turrican games? I haven't heard much about them on SNES.

Enjoyable, though expensive, particularly Super Turrican 2. I was lucky and paid less than half of what it goes for today, but that was a few years ago.

Yes, that is my ultimate goal. I'm slowly working towards it(have five more games hopefully arriving in the mail soon). I'm also debating on what a complete NTSC-U collection means. Specialty carts, such as the tournament editions of games like Donkey Kong Country and StarFox...well, I'm not sure. And while I'd like to own Super Noah's Ark 3D, I must admit that I don't think I need it since it isn't official. I might still seek it out later, but I have a long way to go. There are about 725 games for the Super Nintendo, of which I own 216(221 if all incoming carts work). So I have roughly 500 to go.

That's cool. I'm going for a complete NTSC-U RPG collection, and I'm also trying to work on obtaining all the "essential" Japan-only JRPGs (Treasure Hunter G, Live A Live, Final Fantasy V, etc).

Yeah, the RPGs are fun! You and I have had good times discussing them, and if you want to exchange lists of games to look up, I'd be more than happy to give thoughts. I also can't wait for the day you try Super Ninja Boy.

Also, do you read the various Japanese alphabets? And what do you consider "essential"?
