What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Between the use of racist anachronisms and other questionable statements, I think I am going to ask you guys to steer clear of this subject and stick to video games.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

No, it's not. You weren't born in 1800 and you certainly had no impact. It's not your history. Your history started what, 14 years ago?

Agreed with Flake. Keep this nonsense on Reddit.

If you research what I just told you, you'll see you were just asked to drop this subject.

:D Put in applications to Publix and Target today.

:) Rode the bus today for the first time.

 Found out that according to the lease agreement, I have to stay here for a WHOLE YEAR! Instead of just moving out in October once I have the money and means of moving to New York City, I have to stay here until pretty much next March!!

    My mom's background check here had some issues and she may not get to live here. Or something. Either way, it's bad. Very bad. But...

:?: Hopefully she'll be able to get it sorted out. I mean, if she can pass a background check to work at Disney (more specifically Animal Kingdom), then this will either blow over real quickly... or be the fight of her life (at the moment, at least).

Frown: Subsequently got beaten by Glass Joe in the Title Defense bonus mode.

Yup, Title Defense is a real kick in the balls.

Does making it to Title defense qualify as beating Punch Out!!? If so, I should update my game beaten list.

Since every boxer has a completely different pattern and several have new gimmicks I'd argue that you need to beat Title Defense before you can consider Punch Out!! beaten. Little Mac's Last Stand is just a survival mode that you can only try once.

Yeah guys, lets NOT have the racist/non-racist argument again, mmkay?

Frown: Apparently, I've had a friend say something bad behind my back. Apparently I "couldn't get a girl like that", in reference to a certain girl or two I've been interested in. Her spin on it in our conversations was "you can do better/they're sluts/you deserve better", but behind my back she just thinks I can't pull them.

 I'm right to be pessimistic.
