Played some more Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow today. The voice of Lambert (Sam's boss) changed from Don Jordan to the Allstate guy, Dennis Haybert. Now, I thought he did his voice in the first game, but for some odd reason, he makes it only to this game, then Don Jordan does the other games in the rest of the series, even the newest games. They changed Anna Grimmsdottir's voice too, and made it more obnoxious than ever.

I've been hopping between a bunch of old shmups this weekend fiddling around in various entries in Gradius, Darius, and R-Type. Getting a hankering for a bit of Raiden now, and maybe some Gaiares. Maybe...

GigaPepsiMan wrote:The Adventures of Lolo 2. I find myself constantly being annoyed with the game throwing in new rules out of nowhere which make the puzzles impossible without a guide. How would you know first time playing that to clear a room you have to kill an enemy and then put a block over their re-spawn area so that they would spawn somewhere else? Stuff like this makes the game far less enjoyable than the first.
I'm playing this also, but I haven't had any trouble yet. I'm on floor seven. The game is definitely more difficult than the first, however.

Bentley's Hackpack - I originally thought this was a Sly Thieves in Time DLC. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is its own game with its own trophy list and spot on your gamer profile. It's based off the mini games in Thieves in Time, but these are enhanced versions of them with new gameplay elements as well as optional objectives. It's pretty cool and the whole thing is set up like an old school video arcade with each cabinet having its own selection of mini-games. Also, the title screen for this game is amazing. It's actually a series of screens showing various Sly Cooper characters doing various things around town. Some of it is pretty funny and it's fun to see Carmelita chasing Sly around and trying to blast him like she did in the old PS2 games. It's a 3 dollar download, easy to recommend.

Thor: God of Thunder (DS Version by Wayforward) - I wanted to try another Wayforward beat 'em up after having enjoyed Double Dragon Neon. They are really on my good side now with the news of the Ducktales remake

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure - I don't play many Wii games, but I've seen good reviews for this so I'm trying it out. It's supposedly a puzzle/point & click type game and I'm good at those, and it's from Capcom, so there's that

Jak & Daxter HD Collection - I criticize this series a lot, but most of that hate is because of Jak II. I never tried Jak III because I was under the assumption that is was similar to Jak II, but I'm gonna give it a fair shot and see if I like it. If nothing else, I wouldn't mind playing Jak 1 again as that was a decent game before Jak II came along and threw everything that game did in the garbage.

Guacamelee - I'm looking forward to this, and will be checking PSN throughout the day to see when it finally releases so I can download it. It's supposed to be a Metroidvania type game with beat 'em up elements and a Mexican influence
