If you can find buyers more power to you.

Either that, or you could harass sellers online until they agree with your theories on whatever price a game should be, so you can benefit while they possibly lose money, despite the fact some of those people might be charging said prices because they simply need money. Maybe to cover bills from state-run monopolized utility companies, medicare taxes, social security taxes, income taxes, taxes associated with not having health insurance, taxes associated with death, taxes associated with capital gains, taxes associated with owning property, so on and so forth. Yeah, you should totally make sure nobody can make any form of money off of selling any sort of item they possess for whatever price, and you should definitely be worried about shoving your nose into other people's economic means because obviously you are the only qualified person to make the ultimate decision about what a game should cost, and it should definitely not cost anything outside your means. In fact, capitalism is pure evil because some people get wealthy, even people who were at one point poor yet somehow manage to become rich. No, everyone should just go back to being poor, except for you of course, you deserve your luxury items. Why not tell us exactly how to run the world as you see fit, because obviously you understand all the find nuances of government and are definitely capable of getting past your own personal prejudices and issues to see the answers which will help humanity. And it all starts with making sure nobody sells a video game at a price you cannot afford!

Dude, I was kidding. Lighten up, geez. I think you're taking the debate a little too personally.

Perhaps, but man, you have been a severe broken record about this stuff. Yeah, prices do suck sometimes, but come on. We just want to relax and have a good time discussing games.

So you were kidding AND debating? So are you now arguing for the side that games are actually not overpriced like you previously claimed?

You're right. After having him launch his arguments against resellers in multiple threads that I have had to monitor, I am getting excited. Frankly, I'm annoyed that it has come up multiple times and repeatedly ended up going the exact same way. So I figured I would nip this sarcastic bit immediately to keep from launching into some new argument on who should subscribe to what economic theory because it's ground we've covered multiple times just within the last month.

Now if you have a problem with how I do my job, take it up with me and my boss.

I know. I'm tired of it too. Having to watch this over and over again has worn on my nerves.

Wow. Moderation threats because someone has an opinion about resellers selling to high. Unless I missed something here, having an opinion that differs from the moderator, shouldn't be that big of an offense. I mean, he didn't personally attack you, did he?

I completely agree that the used market has become bloated and overpriced lately. Do I get moderation threats for that opinion, as well?

If you're sick of the discussion, then don't discuss. Simple. But to tell someone that you're sick of hearing their opinion and flaunt your mod-status is frankly a bit extreme.

I still say my we should try my idea to drive down prices. We sell each other rare games on ebay (like Panzer Dragoon Saga) for a dollar on buy it now listings. We would just have to email one another with a link to the listing right after it's posted just so no one else got it first. Hell we wouldn't even actually need to sell a game we could just drive the price down with fake listings and buying them with each other. I wonder what this would do to vgpc...

So who wants to go first and sell me Panzer Dragoon Saga for a buck?
