What Anime are you Currently Watching?/Anime Recommendations

Wrapped up JoJo, that sums up my face.

Absolutely amazing, and there was a tease for part 3 at the end. I think we're dead set on David Production animating more in the future and I am beyond stoked.

If you're an old school, HnK, or shounen fan that wants more violence and absurdity, this is absolutely essential. Blew me away.

I have seen nothing recently work recommending. Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple? Mediocre at best. Everything else I've come across lately is below mediocre. It makes me sad. Anime is at an all time low in my mind...

You're just not watching the right things. Anime is as steady as ever with plenty of quality and plenty of crap.

There actually have been a lot of interesting new animes that have come out over the past few months. Sadly a bunch of them ended over the last week or 2 with somewhat crappy final episodes which felt like teasers to new seasons which in some cases probably wont happen.

However a couple new shows popped up over the last few days that were pretty interesting. Ill post up links whenever maintenance gets finished on my favorite site .

New promising series for this season that I have already watched: Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), OreImo 2, Devil Survivor 2, Hataraku Maou-sama, Yondesuyo, Azazel-san Z, Gargantia. And there are a few more than just aired or haven't started yet that may be decent. This is great compared to last season where even the few series I watched (and enjoyed) were kind of crap. The enjoyable kind of crap.

Attack of Titan and Devil Survivor 2 are two new series that I think have a ton of potential.

The giants in Attack of Titan freak me the hell out and they are they aren't pulling any punches with the gore. The ending to the first episode is going to stick with me for a while it was really brutal. Makes me want to start my own anti-giant campaign lol.

Speaking of new shows, I just watched the first episode of "The Severing Crime Edge." The animation was far better than I expected it to be and it got right into the thick of things. The premise is completely bonkers, but it's presented earnestly. Looks like the central romance is staring up on episode one! That's pretty rare. I really like how they get to the point.

The main characters are adorable but more than a little creepy. I was laughing the whole time. If it stays this good, I think I'll see the whole show.
