I dislike Mega Man X because I preferred the NES Mega Man games. When I first encountered Mega Man X, my thought was, "Why animal bosses now? That seems dumb."
You say that, but I will take Snake Man any day over Chill Penguin.

One important aspect is narrative. In Link's Awakening I felt a connection to the world I was in, the inhabitants and the story. I loved the little side quests and forming a relationship with Marin and the other dude who's name I forget. LTTP seemed to be missing that. It often felt like I was just running around a huge open world, from one dungeon to the next. Sometimes I also felt the game wasn't helpful in helping me in what I need to do next and I used a walkthrough a few times. Although, some may say this is good because the game doesn't hold your hand and you can discover things for yourself, I just feel like I said before, I was running around from one place to the next.
If you feel the need for a hand-holding adventure, then you must REALLY hate Super Metroid, that is the loneliest game ever, and it doesnt ever tell you where to go or what to do!
Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link is the best game in the series. The original game, while awesome, is a bit too simplistic and Hyrule just seems too empty, while in later entries (especially the ones made after OoT), it seems like there's too much going on and I get bored after awhile. Zelda 2, though, is just right.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

I do not know whether I prefer it to the original, but I am certainly in agreement that Zelda II is an amazingly good game and certainly one of the best on the NES. It has the best combat in any Zelda game, and each dungeon is like a miniature "Symphony of the Night" castle. (I have mentioned this earlier, but I would love to see an 8-bit retro-remake of Zelda II done in the style of "Symphony of the Night". Get on it programmers/ROM-hackers!) I do not understand why it is not held in higher regard, and I sometimes think it would be more respected if it did not carry the "Zelda" name.
Couldn't think of anything major that hasn't already been said, but I do have this little tidbit.....
Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles (GCN) is a good game.
P.S. I really am having a blast playing this Single player. Looks awesome in 480P through my Wii and it has just enough RPG for an RPG rookie like me. I am only 6 hours in, so this opinion may evolve either way.
FIRE AWAY
Need Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes 2 for a complete PSP RPG Set.....let me know your price!!!!

And also, what the hell is a kuwanger?
Kuwanga is a japanese bug that is like a cross between a roach and a beetle.
I personally like both mega man series (well, all 3, because I like the Zero series as well). But my favorite of the X series is the first one... ON THE PC. The SNES version sounds weird to me because I grew up with glorious midi
Zelda II The Adventure of Link is probably my least favorite of the series. The game is more repetitive than Super Mario Bros. SOS over, and over, and over. And when the game does mix it up, you turn into a fairy and go through key-holes. Yippie!
I guess it would be fair to say I haven't given this game a fair shake, so keep that in mind. But that's not due to a lack of trying. Link was THE game when I was in elementary school that all the kids were playing, while I was more of a Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania kid. I played it with friends, but Link left me bored. I play once in a while, and still can't get into it.
Luke, just view it as Castlevania 2, minus the wolf scenes. I played it through two years ago and after I figured out combat, I finally liked it. It took me many years to not hate the game... My only complaint is if it had more respawn points it would not get such a bad rap. While the tools you get later make those easier, that final run into Ganons Castle almsot made me give up.
So Majoras Mask and Twilight Princess are now tied for my least favorite Zelda.
