N64 Tshirt

Post by Nintendude94 »

So today http://www.Teefury.com has this cool n64 Tshirt that has a bunch of characters on it. I can name all but two of the characters and it's killing me to know who they are.

The guy with the big hair and a (?) tennis racket. (Top row, second from left) And the kid wearing a helmet with tufts for hair sticking out. (Second row, third from left) They both look so familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

Thanks guy. ;)

Pretty cool shirt, I went and picked one up before it sold out on the last chance offers.

I did a little research as those guys stummped me too. The tennis guy was a unlockable character in mario tennis named Harry:

As for the other character... I'm not too sure.. Lark (middle guy) from Pilotwings 64?

The one under the guy you are asking about I didn't recognize either and turn out hes from a game never released in the US called Rakugakids.

Awesome!! My first thought was Mario Tennis, but I completely forgot about those weird extra characters. And duh to pilot wings. I feel like I should've known that one.

I've actually played Rakugakids, so I got it. Took me a couple min, but I did. lol

Thanks a lot!

Cool design!

The character with the spiky hair reminded me so much of the Nintendo Power mascot, I was initially convinced it was an homage.

EDIT: Apparently the Pilotwings character was actually based on Nester. That might be common knowledge, but it was new to me!

Nester did occur to me, but I knew he never actually appeared in an N64 game. The only game that I know of that he's actually in is Nester's Funky Bowling.
