Random Gaming Thoughts
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
To be fair, Shining the Darkness is pretty antiquated compared to even other games in the series. Shining the Holy Ark pretty much does everything StD does, but better.
I still liked it, though.

Yeah Shining in the Darkness is loads easier than any of those games.Ack wrote:So what are some of the ones you like, kid? Have you played Obitus? That's one game worth skipping, at least on the SNES.
Though if I tell you not to play it I have a feeling that you'll decide to do the opposite.

How do you feel SitD/StHA holds up against Phantasy Star?TheSonicRetard wrote:To be fair, Shining the Darkness is pretty antiquated compared to even other games in the series. Shining the Holy Ark pretty much does everything StD does, but better.

The original? I feel Phantasy Star probably holds up better than SitD, but StHA is a magnificent game that bests both.lisalover1 wrote:How do you feel SitD/StHA holds up against Phantasy Star?TheSonicRetard wrote:To be fair, Shining the Darkness is pretty antiquated compared to even other games in the series. Look at the top of the disc, just to the right.
Amazingly, this disc still plays perfectly fine. I thought that was crazy and just wanted to share.

Hey, you know me! I haven't gotten to it yet though. I'm thinking I'll finally sit down and get through Eye of the Beholder before I seek Obitus out. And Eye of the Beholder is a bit further down my must-play-RPGs list. After Lagoon. Just saying.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Yeah Shining in the Darkness is loads easier than any of those games.Ack wrote:So what are some of the ones you like, kid? Looks like Fido took a bite out ouf it. I can see why it would still work, data is read starting from the center. Not a good ideal to run it since the imbalance will shorten the life of your Saturn, it could also crack while inside the drive.BurningDoom wrote:Look at the top of the disc, just to the right.

If there's one word I could use to describe Obitus that word would be "brown."

Is there a certain PSP that's best for modding?
