$350 dollars back in '99-'00 for a brand new game system plus a dvd player which were already VERY expensive at the time would not have been too far of a stretch IMO. Does anyone remember the PS2 launch price? I can see them wanting to maybe play it safe though after the fiasco the Saturn lauch was. Really wish they had move video of that interview to watch.elmagicochrisg wrote:You mean this Bernie Stolar?...Duane Dibbley wrote:That's what Bernie Stolar wants you to think.TheRev wrote:Because loving the Dreamcast is what the cool kids do.

I just picked up a Saturn and I just can't get into it anymore. I used to love the system but all the games are expensive as Hell and all the shmups and 2d fighters are ported over to other systems. I own a ps 2 and a dreamcast and the nes. That's all I need. I have the street fighter series on ps2 and dreamcast. Same goes for virtua fighter, daytona, gradius, or any other game i liked on the Saturn.
Now imagine if I liked RPG's or strategy games, I'd probably lose my bank account lol
