Genesis-->Dreamcast Controller?

Has anyone here ever done a controller mod, successfully using a genesis controller on a dreamcast? I think this would be quite handy for Emu's running on the DC.

The Teamcast used a Saturn style controller which is similar to the Genesis... You might be able to buy a replacement controller for that and use it on the Dreamcast. Don't know what the button config would be like though...

Google Teamcast, you should get some pictures of what you are looking for. Then it's just a matter of finding a spare controller.

When I look up teamcast, with keywords like saturn, sega, controller, I get nothing.

Well, there's a couple of adapters that'll let you use a Saturn controller, which is very similar; in the opinion of most, better.

saturn controller is slightly better than the genesis onei have. i recommend the saturn-> dc adapter i think play-asia.com still has them.
