Why do people eat out at McDonalds?

I eat at McDonald's a few times a year. It happens when I'm with family and friends. I usually eat clean, and when I go out I usually get real food made by real cooks. Big Macs are still awesome.

Also, I love Arby's. Not comparable to a proper seafood dinner, but really, what's not to like?

Do you all hate French Fries and Coca-Cola, too? I know since that movie "Super Size Me", fast-food has been deemed the devil. But damn, who cares? I enjoy hamburgers, and so do a lot of other people in America. There's nothing wrong with us for that.

Of course it's not as good as a sit-down restaurant. It's fast-food. Who goes to fast-food and expects that?

Health-nuts that look down their nose at people are just as annoying as judgmental people at church that look down their nose at those they don't deem "worthy Christians".

Why do people go to watch Transformers when they know about 20 better films?

"Better" is subjective, though. I think Transformers looks terrible. But I know people who genuinely enjoy those movies. And who's to say my taste is better than theirs? I thought Jennifer's Body was super entertaining. I've watched it numerous times. There's no accounting for taste.

To answer your initial question, people eat at McDonald's because it's fucking delicious.

Any Christian who decides another person "isn't worthy" is comically missing the point.

With fast food, the thing that bothers me is one chain claiming it's healthier than another. Sure, Whoppers have 200 less grams of fat than big macs. It barely matters

Convenience . They open day and night and sometimes 24 hours . I wish I can give up on fast food but there is simply no alternatives . Plus they are usually the ones with delivery service . The only other place that I can think of that is convenient and is a healthier option is Subway but how much subway can you eat? For me McDonalds does not taste delicious , their fries are though.

What's crazy is I used to eat the worst food possible. Double-Quarter Pounders, and always had two cases of Dr. Pepper in my apartment.
Now I get sick if I go near the stuff. I'm not sure why, but I just can't eat stuff like that anymore. Honestly, I'm happy because I've felt loads better since I started eating healthier. I've even picked up biking as hobby, which I thought would NEVER happen.

Seriously though. Growing up, I had McDonalds EVERY day, and drank NOTHING but soda. My grandparents were pretty lazy, and I hated water. Milk made me sick, so I never touched the stuff.

I'm always getting comments about how I don't eat meat, and that I should. I've actually had people shove pork in my face before. I wasn't even talking to the people, they just came up and asked why I was picking pepperoni off of a free slice of pizza...
So the same can be said for both sides. Just respect other people's choices.

McDonalds I never really go to, I try to avoid fast food as part of my normal diet. I won't deny that some of it can be really tasty. About 95% of the time I eat a vegan diet, with a lot of whole fruits and vegetables, but I could die eating Baconators from Wendy's before I ever got tired of them. Just something that's so damn good with those sandwiches of fat and cholesterol.
