Was Dragon Force on the PS2 in English? It makes no difference to its exclusitivity, but it'd still be worth mentioning if it's the only translated version of the game.
There is no translation guide for Dragon Force I, let alone a translation patch. The only english copy is on the Saturn.
I sure as hell wish there were though, i could sell my english copy and get a infinitely cheaper jp version (Dragon Force import version for Saturn is like 5 - 8 bucks).
Mystaria/Blazing Heroes is actually a pretty darn cool game. The graphics have not aged well and actually looked kinda crappy when the game came out, but the gameplay is pretty darn solid. It was a good display of how Shining Force was likely to work in 3D.

And it didn't come out until 2 years AFTER Blazing Heroes. Your point?
Just thought I should ask befor I do this. I found a Saturn an 2 controllers one is analog 3d controller the other is the fat model controller. So far 4 games Daytona, bootlegs sampler, virtua fighter 2, and virtua cop with the.orange gun. The reset tab button is missing. All for 40.00. Is it worth buying or should I wait for a better deal.
Just remembered when I bought my second Saturn off of Ebay about 8 years ago. Was just looking for something cheap with a few mainstay games that I could build a collection around. Found one with the usual - Nights w/3D gamepad, Daytona/VF/Virtua Cop, other random commons.
Also listed was a game called 'Dragon Knight.' I'd never heard of it. I figured no way someone mislabeled Dragon Force. Bought the whole thing for $40.
Yeah, it was Dragon Force, CIB. I laughed, then cried.
1) Not many bought it , no nostalgia effect
2) Limited Library , not much games to be remembered
3) Other than shmups and 2D fighters, other consoles gave better performance
4) Not emulated , while N64/psx is easily emulated as I understand
5) expensive games
6) Mid 90's CD based console, I wonder how long can it live.
