anyone ever collect the nes capcom library?
anyone ever collect the nes capcom library?
In the last few months I have been trying to collect the nes Capcom library. I have second thoughts on 4 titles snow bros, duck tales 2, rescue rangers 2, and mighty final fight. God damn. That's going to be 600.00 as of right now. I could sell my dreamcast collection to get that much money but I cant bear the thought. Has anyone ever done this on racketboy? I would like to collect the Capcom library on the nes but doing that would have to be a sacrifice like getting rid of my dreamcast and genesis collection.

I have every Capcom game on the NES except Snow Brothers. They are cool and all, but they are not worth $600. Moreover, they are certainly not Capcom's best games on the system. Accordingly, if I were you I would hold on to my Dreamcast and Genesis collections and pick up the rarer Capcom games one at a time. If you are patient, I am certain that you can get them for a good price. (I paid approximately $53 for my cart-only copies of Ducktales 2, Mighty Final Fight, and Rescue Rangers 2.)

How long ago did you pay 53.00 for those games? I will never sell my stuff. In case I'm putting a down payment on a house and i need a grand or so left then yeah but other than that no way.

Out of those four games:
Snow Bros. : Not bad, kinda like Bubble Bobble but with better music
DuckTales 2: Good, but short and easy.. oh so short. Recommended
Rescue Rangers 2: pfffWAHAHAHAHA! Garbage. Not worth it.
Mighty Final Fight: VERY nice beat em' up. Recommended, but expensive.
Rescue Rangers 2 can go shove it, and Snow Bros. is hit or miss... the other two though are worth having.

I picked up DuckTales 2 at a country flea market in 2009...which seemed like a king's ransom at the time. I grabbed Might Final Fight from a video game store in 2011 for about $15, which was just a little less than the going rate that year. Finally, I picked up Rescue Rangers 2 from a thrift store in 2009 for $3, which was a good deal even then.

Thanks for the reply. I guess im going to have to just wait and hope I find one one this year. If not then I can always play my modded xbox. Congrats on holding your games. I think I started to figure out from you guys to just keep things and box things up and never sell. I mean look at the prices on Saturn stuff and nes.

I understand you want the NES carts, but Duck Tales 2 on the Gameboy and Mighty Final Fight on the GBA are terrific.

Im tempted to just buy Ducktales 2 and Snow Bros on the Famicom. But Snow Bros is almost the same price for a legit cart on the Famicom as on the NES.
