Whoops!

I still think of it as Finds of the Day I guess.

But yeah - I'm sure it's confusing to the newer folks.

Finds of the Day is for things that are actual finds - when I pay well below market value. Almost always, it's a solid craigslist or Goodwill deal.

So for me, the cool stuff I got at PAX East I paid "regular" price for - those are games acquired. The free Tandy and Texas Instruments systems I got from a craigslist dude - those are finds.

At least that's how I see it.

That's what I've been trying to do. Retail/Amazon purchases have been going in Acquired, and thrift store purchases have been going in "Finds". Though I did contemplate what to do about Vanquish. For $1.99 it really could have gone in either.

And I've been trying to put a little story about what I got in each post, but when you get something from Amazon people don't really need for any explanation past that, so I don't always bother.

Who was the first magician to say "Ta-Da!"?

Steve Urkel is known for his catch phrase "Did I do that?". What did he do to cause the first "Did I do that?"?.

Mangoes are the most consumed fruit on Earth, and not just by a hair. Madness.

If you put a finger in your ear and scratch, it sounds just like Pac-Man.

In the first four seasons of Full House, Uncle Jesse can cut a rug with ease. For some reason he turned into a klutz from there on out.

Is there a heterosexual male on Earth who would not want to sleep with Wayne Gretzky's daughter?

Seeing an old lady flip the bird is still funnier than 90% of the comedies I've seen in the past decade.

Who is paying for the Yellow Pages directories I get twice a year and never use?

When did Pizza joints stop giving free delivery?

Does every grey NES Zapper have "Copyright 1985" on it?

I had a dream my wife was paying $40 a week for tambourine lessons four nights ago, and for some reason I'm still a bit pissed off at her for no viable reason.

It's difficult to find a retail store that sells a decent megaphone.

I've been wearing my left sock inside out for over a decade now for good luck.

If you have extra loot and are looking to make an investment, invest in Doctor's Associates Inc. It's not what you think it would be.

Where are all the zombie babies, toddlers, dogs, cats, ants, bees, etc., on the Walking Dead?

I'm all for eating healthy, but I'm friends with people whose "diet" seems to be destroying their bodies. Flax seed and almond milk every day for breakfast? Pass.

I beat my Father in-law in arm wrestling (left and right) and it made me feel pretty crappy.

I'm thinking about moving to Portland as there might be an amazing opportunity for me there.

5 = Number of times someone told me "Your fly is down" in the past three days.

1= Number of times my Mother in law saw me in just my boxers over the weekend.

$0.67usd per can of Trader Joe's Beer named Name Tag. It is terrible. Even the Beast is better.

Most people forget that the Superman franchise had great 16-bit games.

Star Wars 3D should have happened at least five years ago.

What's the point of making angel food cake if you are going to smother it with frosting?

It recently occurred to me that I got in deep doo doo in middle school for rolling Easter Grass into a joint and pretending to smoke it.

I have two big meetings tomorrow, and I just can't sleep. Forcing yourself to sleep is old balls awful.

Parents who put Fedoras on their kids are very awful people. One of my good friends is a very awful person, and posts the pics on FB.

Parents in general should not post pics of their kids on fb. Pictures should be kept in family albums, not spread across the net.

I don't know if it is the newspaper or the Silly Putty, but something is majorly wrong.

Never had a friend who wore FUBU clothing.

Isn't it time bleached jeans, ripped at the knees of course, come back in style? That, and there needs to be less Justin's and more Corey's.

Recently told a friend who was misbehaving "You're playing ping pong without a net" and it took him more than a few minutes to figure my meaning. Granted. I think the saying is "Playing tennis without a net".

My cousin held a podcast with the "What what, in the butt" guy.

Happy flying zombie Jesus day.

Not the one that I'm assuming Luke is referring to. She's in her 20s.

If she's the one Luke was speaking of, I must actually be a sentient plate of artichokes or something. Purely based on that photo she doesn't look like a pleasant person to be around (even for short term non speaking interfacing) and she looks like she could use a sandwich or two.
