I imagine it's less for us, and more for those who are going to wake up to pages and pages of bumped necro threads.

Woke my wife up at 2am and told her "Ripley (our dog) got into peanut butter and tracked it all over the house".

So yeah, not so clever, but it definitely got a reaction from a half awake wife and that's all I was aiming for.

I work at an elementary school. Worst holiday ever.

I've already heard about a million comments like this:

"Hey Mr. Bone I'm moving tomorrow and never coming back! April Fools! HAHAHAHAAH!"
