I don't think it's odd. I have never seen a Nintendo device where they have the graphics reversed so it looks fine when someone is using the system. Have you?

I don't understand that decision. But either way, Pikachu actually looks pretty cute upside down, haha. Like he's hanging off something upside down or something. Or laying on the ground.

The SMTIV 3DS XL looks good either way because of the way they designed that art. Pretty awesome.

BTW, playing Devil Survivor Overclocked now. Love it. Not much different than the original so far, but that is not a terrible thing. Also ordered Devil Survivor 2. I want to complete it before the Devil Survivor 2 anime starts airing on 4/10

Edit: Also added both folks that said they added me. :) Feel free to be my friend! I'm going to be playing a lot more 3DS finally.

I think there may be room in my heart for the 3DS after all. I'd been slowly chugging along at Ys Seven on my Vita but only half heartedly. Only about 10 hours in 2 or 3 weeks. Now that I am replaying Devil Survivor (Overclocked this time) my gaming time has gone up significantly. Already at 11+ hours in 3 days.

I've got so many SMT spinoffs on tap for 2013. Devil Survivor Overclocked. Devil Survivor 2. Devil Summoner Soul Hackers. SMT: Strange Journey. I hope Devil Survivor 2 Break Code makes it here sooner than later. And SMTIV. Plan on playing Persona 3 Portable on Vita as well. Ahh..

Along with that I've got Fire Emblem, Professor Layton, Pokemon X/Y, and Luigi's Mansion in the cards too. Maybe more!

ANNND Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on 3DS + Wii U. If anyone wants to play online let me know. :)

I'm about halfway through it, nearing the end of the third mansion (out of 5), and I think its fantastic.

Its definitely different from the original, for better or worse will depend on your perspective. For instance, the atmosphere of the original's mansion is better, creepier and sometimes overwhelming. The sequel however, has greater variety in its environments. The structure is also different, with the new game using missions with specific goals. Its a bit more regimented, but it makes up for that by still making changes within the levels every time you return to them. Its also full of fun little puzzles and challenges and hidden things, and if you liked hunting for treasure in the original, it will fulfill that need in spades while also rewarding you with an upgrade system.

Its a lot of fun, a bit addicting, and if I may whore myself out a bit, the graphics are just beautiful.

I'm really loving it.
