Yuffie the lucky ninja.

I'm grinding for AP in the Northern crater before I fight Sephiroth. Yuffie is level 77. An enemy attacks her and brings her health down to exactly 7777. She get's the "Lucky 7's" status an insta kills everyone.


Best character ever.

There's actually an FAQ on GameFAQs dedicated to getting 7777 on a whim. You basically use a combination of material to get the last digits of your health to be 77, then equip enough HP+ material to have your max be higher than 7777 (so let's say your current health is 5477 and a max of 9999) and then you eat potions to get to 7777 before the next battle.

mwhahahaah I normally wouldn't but it seems like Megas has already begun Mother 2.

Actually I don't know a single person who played Mother 1 before Mother 2.

Um, hello. I believe you know me from another place and time, but I did play the translated prototype of Earthbound Zero as soon as the ROM got released before I got around to Earthbound. I believe that counts

Just beat Final Fantasy 7. A very good game, even though it took me about 16 years to get around to playing it.

EDIT: Also, why the hell is Vincent the one that got his own game? Even if it was terrible. I demand Square makes a spin-off title with Yuffie as the main character.

Awesome, glad you liked it!

I completely agree that Yuffie should have had her own game. I loved that, if you had her on your team, it sparked a whole sidequest that really built on her character.

When I first played the game back in '98, I thought Vincent was the shit, just because he was dark and mysterious. Of the 7 additional times I have played through the game, I have never used him, but use Yuffie almost every time. Her ultimate weapon is by FAR the best too, even better than Cloud's. Vincent's is one of the worst, unless you put a ton of time into powering it up.

Any plans to take down Ruby and Emerald weapons?


I'm about to give up on Neptunia, or at least slow down on it. The story is awesome, the writing and voice acting is awesome, but the dungeon crawling is so boring. Anytime I actually have to play the game, I am bored and find myself begging for more dialogue.

Nah, not really.

I'd love to do it, but I'd have to find some of the super powerful/rare materia that I missed as well as grind level's and AP to even stand a chance. Plus I have a huge backlog of games that still demands my attention. xD
