My Sister was a basket case when her baby was Baptized. She's already a nutcase when it comes to her own health, and when everyone in her church wanted to see her baby, she freaked.

"PLEASE DON'T TOUCH! Sorry, but please don't touch her."

I could see where she was coming from, as some elderly people would get right up in the baby's face. And I love our elders, but that's another reason I don't like the Peace be with You's; creepy old people handshakes. The willies it gives me (plus, can't we just move the service along).

Another weird thing about my wife's church is after "All the kids, come here for kid's time", all the kids go to some other wing of the church for "Kid's service". At my old Lutheran church, the kids would run up to the front of the pews, listen to a story from the Bible, and then go back to sit with their parents.

At this church the kids have their little talk as the old people "Awwww" and then it's as if the Pastor says, "Alright kiddies. Run along, time for the adults to talk". The "kid's sermon" is only there for show and serves no purpose if the kids are just going to wander off afterwards.

If I had the keys to the church van, services should not last over 45 minutes, even including communion.

I am going to church on Sunday for what must be the first time in at least three years, and maybe only the third time in a decade. Can't. Fucking. Wait.

My really close friend Paul only goes to church on Easter, and a few years ago he mistakenly went to the Hispanic service. He stuck it out and said "Hey, it still counts as going".

No, I am mostly going to be nice and avoid an argument. I'm a guest, the hosts would like me to go with them, so I am going to be polite.

Ticked - Found out today I have to do training in Atlanta tomorrow morning at 0700...apparently corporate thinks I am a trainer and live in a city 4 hours away. To their defense I did live there until recently, and luckily I am heading down there for the weekend, so this just gets me down there a day earlier

Smile - Had some extra money come in from a side gig that was completely unexpected.

Ticked - Was thinking about spending said extra money on famicom versions of some rare NES games I dont own and found out that Snow Brothers on the NES is cheaper than on the Famicom (atleast on ebay). And thanks to the announcement earlier this week, Ducktales 2 prices have scooted up alittle to high for my taste.

Smile - Wife got a lead on a company that should be able to make me new control panel overlays for my VS tent in metal. Meaning it wont be limited to two buttons per player and could actually have a 4 button per player per side setup - aka ultimate 4 player beatemup machine.

:x Bought Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter on PSN, and was very excited to play this revamp of one of my favorite games ever. Apparently you can't paly PSP games purchased via PSN on the ps3. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Total waste of $10, and very bummed that I can't try this out.

Well, I've known it exists for quite some time, my excitement/disappointment was at the thought that I could play it on my television without having to purchase a PSP.

It extends to other games too. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will play on my ps3, but now I know that Persona 2: Innocent Sin will not.

I'll just have to get over not liking handhelds.
