The PSP remaster or whatever, is stellar. I haven't played The After Years yet, anyone else do that?BoneSnapDeez wrote:I've never actually played the American FF2 to completion. By the time I got around the playing the game the original Japanese FF4 had a ROM translation so I played that instead.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I hate the design of the "newer" xbox 360. It looks cheap when compared to the older elite model.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I once saw 'The Lost World' for Mega Drive going cheap at auction and nearly bought it purely because its such a cool looking cart. I never suspected it would be any good because 'Jurassic Park' is so woeful. Something made me check it out on youtube the other day and it looks really awesome. Now I want it but theres no cheap ones on ebay any more.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
A couple bits of randomness.
You all remember my hunt to find more about the obscure publishers that were a dime a dozen during the Genesis launch. I happened to find an ad for a eventually-canceled game by one of those publishers called Bean Ball Benny -
Nuvision Entertainment was formed by Parker Bros/Activision programmers Charlie Heath and Rex Bradford. Both did work during the Atari 2600 days (Rex notably for The Empire Strikes Back for PB) and they were raising capital to try to get onto the Genesis. This game was described by Charlie as a modern take on Keystone Kapers. Nuvision only ended up releasing one game for the Genesis known as Bimini Run. I don't think that game had "hundreds of challenging hours"
Also, I found out today that FarSight Studios, known for their recreations of classic pinball tables in various branded collections and now releasing individual tables for download on current consoles, developed the Genesis version of Action 52 and Color A Dinosaur on the NES. Color me surprised.
