maximum carnage pal australia version

Post by thegentleman »

Hi all I'm looking for some help,

I'm trying to put a value on the australian megadrive release of maximum carnage.

I definitely wouldn't consider it rare, but I can't find any information or ebay auctions to judge it's value on apart from one ridiculous $80 buy it now listing.

The difference I can see from the UK Pal version is that the Australian version has a black cart and a crappy blue paper manual.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers

It's scarce, but region free.
No in-game reason to spend more than a USA version.

Hello. This game is pretty common in Australia. My copy was $5.00 from a pawn shop complete. Note that all of the Australian Mega Drive releases are the same as the UK versions except for the cheap blue paper manual. The manuals also only contain the English language. If you keep an eye out its a game you should be able to get cheap. $80.00 is ludicrous.

(I just checked and, yep, the $80.00 one is all that's on ebay. I reckon that at auction, it would go for between 10 and 20)
