Actually, since I've gotten two 360s, both of which failed on me, and then I fixed one, but I pretty much lost the achievements in the process...I just find I'm not interested in it anymore. I don't really want to go for the achievements in Dead Rising(as it's been stated, some of them are just absolute time wasters), and I don't feel like playing through Oblivion if it's not on PC, or through Condemned or Mass Effect again.
In fact, the only game I own on the console that I'm considering playing is Virtua Fighter 5. Though I'm not really surprised by it...

Most of those are ports, and you can get every one of those games listed from another consolegradualmeltdown wrote:me

Re: The 360 has spoiled me.
Most of my favourite titles in the past few years have been on multiple consoles. For me it isn't a case of that they are available elsewhere, it's that they are all under one roof here, and a lot of them are easy to play from my couch with a wireless controller. Even better is a lot of them are downloadable and I don't even have to swap the disk.Citizin wrote:Most of those are ports, and you can get every one of those games listed from another consolegradualmeltdown wrote:me

Of those titles, what stands out most is that you get a lot of titles through the arcade at very reasonable prices and ported extremely well.
Rez HD and Ikaruga on XBOX 360 are my personal favourite versions. Rez at high res with 5.1 dolby digital is AWESOME. Same goes for Lumines Live! It is also the only version of Ikaruga that is completely translated to English.
I also love the marketplace and the media center extender features. Especially since they've added Divx playback.
I have to agree raztat, but I have found the 360 is the console I play the most now a days.

they may be from other consoles, but those consoles look like crap on a hdtv, rez looks very nice on 360, if you have hdtv
There are 3 things I don't believe in, politics and math.
Re: The 360 has spoiled me.
I've tried Doom and Double Dragon on a 360 and they didn't feel well ported to me at all. Doom felt weird with the controller and I hated how they stuck in new menus. Double Dragon would slow down and lag in some parts and would be even worse when 2 people are playing co-op. I would never pay for that when you could either emulate it for free or buy the unedited original, and not download it through some shitty system just so you can grab achievements that ruin the game and increase your worthless "gamerscore".lordofduct wrote:

I'm not even going to bother trying these but I'll take your word for it. I'll still be sticking with the Dreamcast versions.Rez HD and Ikaruga on XBOX 360 are my personal favourite versions. Marketplace has nothing but overpriced garbage and Divx playback is extremely limited. I've tried opening up a folder full of avi files and although it played all my movies encoded in Xvid, it refused to play almost all of the Divx ones.I also love the marketplace and the media center extender features. Especially since they've added Divx playback.

Re: The 360 has spoiled me.
yeah, we have dreamcast too man. its ok to think other things are fun too.
I have all the classic versions of those games listed as well. Its all about having them all on one console. As noted the downloadable games are simply crack because I can jump around between them so easily. No disc swapping.

Re: The 360 has spoiled me.
Claudio and gradual are right. So convenient and some good ports. There's some bad ones too but Doom is not one of them. Playing it with the 360 controller for me was like cutting through butter with a hot knife. Just smooth and easy, baby.
Re: The 360 has spoiled me.
I would love to go play some games on my ps2 and snes that i missed out on like odin sphere and super mario rpg but i cant bring my self to do it!
