Might and Magic X

Post by Phades »

Just watched the announcement trailer. Looks right up my alley.

I've always been a sucker for the old M&M games and have missed them. I thought IX sucked, but the ones before that were great. I especially enjoyed World of Xeen (4/5). I'm guessing the success of Grimrock helped get this greenlit. Anybody else excited?

Wow, I'm impressed that this is happening, and that they're keeping in things like grid-based movement.

Awesome.

I wonder if Legend of Grimrocks sturdy sales helped them come to the decision to make it, doubtful, but sounds romantic enough

This is awesome. What has it been, 11 years since IX was released?

I'm excited for it, although I've never played any of the M&M games. Gotta look into that...

That reminds me how back in high school I bought the Might & Magic Millennium Collection which has, I think, four of the games... I never played more than a couple minutes! D:

Awesome. I wonder if they have any plans for a new Heroes of Might and Magic game also?

If you're into turn based strategy games then try giving HOMM 3 or 5 (3rd is the best one in the entire series) a chance while you're at it. If you've never played one before, it's a good starting point, espescially if you like medieval fantasy and RPG games
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box
