I personally disagree with most of your posts and with your rude manner on the forums and your knee-jerk responses and your instant distaste for anything that doesn't match your own opinion, but I certainly would never send hatemail like that! What a waste of time.

i never get hatemail, but i'm pretty chill most of the time i think. the closest i came was when i was (admittedly) an asshole to some guy about some super secret gaming project on this very forum.

UG is mostly full of pricks who rate my uploads 1 out of 5 stars just because they dont like me. There's a few people who watch my account on there and wait for me to share anything, so I just said fuck it. I let other people reupload my stuff for me on their own time, and then of course, people try to 1-star those as well. Of course 1-star voters never say anything in the comments.

I have had some but the fanmail out weighs it, slightly. Once that changes I will be concerned.

I don't get much hatemail, but I can relate. One thing no-one ever seems to realize is I, and many people I'd imagine, act much different online. I keep my Zer alias and persona completely separate from my real life alias and persona, and I assume the same of most people. If someone is a dick and/or troll online, I assume he's more mildmannered in real life, and generally I'm correct. The mask of anonymity the internet grants makes communication with strangers much different. In real life you generally don't walk up to a stranger and insult him for little reason, and when you do, there may well be consequences. But, no matter what you say on the internet, the worst that can happen within reason is you get banned from a site.

I love Racketboys forum because we are so cool here. People can disagree and still enjoy discussion for the most part. Even in threads where people get heated mod's and members have stepped in.


I think generally people attack those who have what they want or are what they would like to be. I climb mountains and get horrible comments in my blog about being a lazy, fat american, idiot. Jealousy sucks.
