I really wish I saved the couple hundred hatemails I got because of my Dreamcast releases and my AMVs from 8 fucking years ago. I've only gotten half a dozen like this one, where the subject matter is myself instead of something I've worked on.

I got to know most of your senses of humor, and I don't take having a discussion as being a jerk. You have to understand that most people hate being contradicted and react poorly.

Eh, anyway...was that really the guy's e-mail address? It makes me wonder if it was a joke if that's really it. I haven't gotten hatemail for anything I've written on this site. Some folks tend to make snide remarks in the comments section of articles I've written, sure, but most of the time those guys get shot down by just about everyone else who has read those articles. And I don't get in fights on the forums, either. I guess I'm just not as popular as you guys...

I've never really concerned myself with hate mail. If we can get through primary school with kids making fun of you on a daily basis, I think a little internet hate mail isn't that much either. In the real world this was still always the threat of a physical brawl or something... what is this guy on the interwebs gonna do to me?

So I just chuckle at it.

Not to say no one here is chuckling at it... it appears we all are having a good laugh about it. I just kinda feel bad for the guy who sent the email, he's probably gonna come across this thread and have his ego smothered ever so slightly. Personally I find that hurts more then anyone making fun of me. You can call me a liar or a douche all you want... I don't care. Shit when I was a kid I was called "a dyldo" all the time due to the ever slight comparison between my name and the fact I could wiggle my eyes (oh and I was a bit of an idiot). I thought it was funny, to this day it's my nickname!

But the second I actually lie or act like a douche and I recognize it in myself. I feel horrible. No longer is some one talking smack, I actually did it. Not cool with my self esteem.
