I doubt Square would have that problem. Silent Hill HD's voices were basically over contract and licensing issues. I don't know of any other HD collection that needed its voices redone...

The laughing scene doesn't sound any better in Japanese!

Actually, outside of a couple of voices, I really don't mind the dub. Too bad those 'couple of voices' include the protagonist and Yuna...

But yeah, dual audio would definitely be nice. I wouldn't hold my breath for it though.

They certainly do a better job than NIS America. That is for sure. But NIS America includes the Japanese track a vast majority of the time. And the dub in the one Tales of game I have played was.. Alright. Dub only is the worst, to be honest. At least with anime companies have learned that they should include the original audio.

I don't dislike Final Fantasy X but the characters are shockingly irritating. Whatever though, I'll buy this.

From what I understand, most companies at least try to include original audio. Sometimes there's issues though, everything from technical problems to contract and licensing issues with using the Japanese voice tracks in another region, etc.

IIRC, Kojima actually prefers the English voices in Metal Gear Solid.
